The Centre for Tax Laws (CTL) at NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad, invites blog submissions on a rolling basis. The CTL Blog serves as a premier platform for legal scholars, practitioners, and students to analyze contemporary developments, policy shifts, and jurisprudence in the realm of taxation and allied legal fields.

Themes & Scope

Submissions should primarily focus on Taxation Law and Policy. The blog also welcomes submissions on allied topics, including:

• Economic Offences
• White-Collar Crime
• Fiscal Policy and Corporate Tax Jurisprudence

Eligibility Criteria

• Open to law students, research scholars, legal practitioners, and academicians.
• Co-authorship is permitted.

Submission Guidelines

• Word Limit: Up to 2,000 words (flexibility may be granted by the Editorial Board based on content quality). Multi-part series are accepted for lengthier analyses.
• Summary: Submissions must include a brief 1–2 line summary of the article.
• Referencing: All references must be hyperlinked directly within the main text. Footnotes should only be used if an online source is unavailable.
• Exclusivity: The article must be original and not submitted to or published on any other platform.
• Author Details Required: Author's name, year of study (if applicable), institutional/organizational affiliation, a short bio (40–50 words), and a LinkedIn profile link.

Review Process

• Preliminary Review: Conducted by the Student Editorial Board within approximately 7 days.
• Comprehensive Editorial Review: Conducted by the Editorial Board, taking up to 14 days.
• Overall Timeline: The complete review process takes about 20–30 days, including incorporation of editorial feedback. Final acceptance is subject to necessary revisions.
