RIMT Youth Parliament 2026

About the Organizer & Event

RIMT University is organising the RIMT Youth Parliament 2026 under the theme “One Nation, One Vision: Youth for Inclusive Growth”. The event provides a vibrant platform for students to simulate parliamentary procedure, deliberate on critical national issues, and refine public policy and debate skills.

Competition Scope & Themes

• Main Theme: “One Nation, One Vision: Youth for Inclusive Growth”
• Sub-Theme 1: Social Justice, Gender Equality and Empowerment of Marginalised Communities
• Sub-Theme 2: Education, Digital Inclusion and Equal Opportunities
• Role Allocation: Roles including Speaker, Deputy Speaker, Prime Minister, Leader of Opposition, Union Ministers, and Members of Parliament will be allotted by the organising committee 3 days prior to the event.

Event Schedule (12 September 2026)

• 09:30 AM – 10:15 AM: Reporting & Registration
• 10:30 AM – 11:00 AM: Inaugural Ceremony
• 11:10 AM – 12:50 PM: Session I
• 01:00 PM – 01:45 PM: Lunch
• 02:00 PM – 03:45 PM: Session II
• 04:00 PM – 04:30 PM: Closing Ceremony

Eligibility & Criteria

• Open to all Undergraduate and Postgraduate students from recognized colleges/universities.
• Mode: Offline (Seminar Hall, RIMT University).
• Dress Code: Indian Formals / Western Formals.

Prizes & Awards

• Best Parliamentarian: ₹5,000 + Trophy + Certificate
• Best Speaker: ₹3,000 + Trophy + Certificate
• Best Parliamentary Role: ₹2,000 + Trophy + Certificate

Registration Fees

• RIMT University Students: ₹300/-
• External Participants: ₹600/-
• Note: Registration fees are non-refundable.

How to Apply

Interested candidates must fill out the official application form and attach proof of registration fee payment on or before 5 September 2026. Only one Google Form submission per candidate is permitted.
