About the Centre for Transnational Commercial Law (CTCL)
Situated at NLU Delhi's state-of-the-art campus in Sector 14, Dwarka, CTCL is at the forefront of legal research and academic exchange in commercial law. The Centre focuses on critical legal developments, research projects, and Open & Distance Learning (ODL) programs designed to advance commercial law education across borders.
Key Responsibilities
- Course Coordination: Develop and manage ODL courses, primarily conducted on weekends.
- Substantive Legal Research: Provide deep research support for ongoing projects and compile specialized research on transnational commercial topics.
- Publications & Reports: Assist in drafting, documenting, and preparing project reports and official Centre publications.
- Operations & Logistics: Deliver administrative and logistical support for conferences, seminars, and core operational activities of the Centre.
Candidate Eligibility & Requirements
- Qualifications: Holds a recognized degree in Law (LL.B., LL.M., or Ph.D.).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year post-qualification academic or professional legal experience.
- Skills: Exceptional research capacity, superior legal writing capabilities, and strong communication skills.
Position Details & Compensation
- Duration: 1-year contractual position, with potential extension based on project requirements and performance.
- Remuneration: ₹50,000 per month (consolidated, subject to 10% TDS deduction and availability of funds).
- Work Mode: Full-time, On-Campus at NLU Delhi (Dwarka, Sector 14, New Delhi – 110078).
