Exciting Opportunity for Junior Associate in Environmental Litigation
The Chambers of Adv. Ashwin Kumar is inviting applications from dynamic and passionate legal professionals for the position of Junior Associate – Litigation in Chennai. This role offers an incredible platform to gain hands-on litigation experience, working on impactful environmental law matters and regulatory disputes before prestigious judicial and quasi-judicial forums, including the Hon’ble National Green Tribunal (NGT) and the Hon’ble High Court.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct independent and rigorous legal research, draft pleadings, and prepare comprehensive case briefings.
- Assist lead counsel in court hearings, regulatory proceedings, and strategic client meetings.
- Manage end-to-end legal documentation, court filings, procedural compliance, and advisory matters.
- Gain direct, practical exposure to cutting-edge environmental litigation and regulatory mandates before the NGT, High Court, and other forums.
Candidate Eligibility & Qualifications
- Experience: 0–1 years of PQE. Fresh graduates with strong relevant internship exposure are welcome to apply.
- Education: LL.B. degree. An LL.M. in Environmental Law or prior litigation experience is strongly preferred.
- Core Skills: Exceptional legal research abilities, robust drafting skills, and clear communication.
