This high-impact role is tailored for individuals eager to develop deep practical expertise in corporate debt recovery, criminal litigation, court execution proceedings, and strategic dispute resolution.
Role Overview & Key Responsibilities
As a Legal Executive with Kogta Finance, you will play a pivotal role in spearheading legal recovery processes, managing case pipelines, and ensuring effective enforcement of legal remedies. Key responsibilities include:
- Litigation Management: Drafting, filing, and tracking legal proceedings under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, summary suits, and related execution petitions.
- Criminal Complaints & Police Coordination: Preparing applications and handling proceedings under Section 156(3) of the CrPC/BNSS to protect institutional financial interests.
- Field Visits & Recovery Coordination: Leading on-ground field investigations, borrower visits, and tactical asset recovery coordination in coordination with the local operations team.
- Execution Proceedings: Driving execution petitions, attachment orders, and warrants across district courts and tribunals in the National Capital Region.
- Liaison & Legal Operations: Coordinating with external counsels, local law enforcement authorities, and court registries to expedite hearing dates and case closures.
Candidate Eligibility & Requirements
- Qualifications: LL.B. / B.A. LL.B. degree from a recognized university.
- Experience Level: Both experienced candidates with practical courtroom exposure and enthusiastic fresh graduates with strong procedural grounding are encouraged to apply.
- Domain Knowledge: Working familiarity with Section 138 NI Act, CrPC/BNSS provisions, execution mechanics, and financial recovery frameworks.
- Key Competencies: Willingness to conduct field visits, proactive dispute management, strong negotiation skills, and field management capabilities.
