About the Role
This prestigious on-site legal internship offers selected candidates a front-row seat to matters of national significance, public policy, constitutional law, and high-stakes white-collar criminal prosecution. Interns will work directly alongside seasoned advocate counsel representing the Union of India and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
Key Responsibilities
- Legal Research: Conduct in-depth research on complex questions of constitutional law, statutory interpretation, criminal procedure, and administrative law.
- Case Briefing & Drafting: Assist in drafting counter-affidavits, writ petitions, applications, and legal notes for upcoming hearings before the Delhi High Court.
- Court Attendance: Observe live proceedings and arguments in high-profile government and CBI matters at the Delhi High Court.
- Document Management: Organize case files, maintain brief digests, and compile compilation of judgments for court presentations.
Eligibility & Candidate Profile
- Open to law students currently pursuing their LL.B. degree.
- Preference: Students in their 4th or 5th year of a 5-year integrated LL.B. course.
- Preference: Students in their 3rd year of a 3-year LL.B. course.
- Demonstrated strong analytical, research, and legal drafting skills.
- High level of professional integrity and commitment to on-site attendance in Delhi.
