Plato’s Law is inviting driven, detail-oriented law students to apply for its Legal Internship Program. This internship provides exceptional, hands-on exposure to litigation and dispute resolution across multiple judicial and quasi-judicial forums.
About the Role
As a Legal Intern at Plato’s Law, you will work closely with advocates handling contentious and complex matters across premier commercial tribunals and courts. Interns gain invaluable practical training in legal research, drafting, case preparation, and court proceedings.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in drafting pleadings, notices, applications, and petitions across various forums.
- Conduct in-depth legal research on procedural and substantive laws, including insolvency, debt recovery, and real estate regulations.
- Work on live matters pending before specialized tribunals, including the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), Debt Recovery Tribunal (DRT), and Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA).
- Support briefing and matter preparation for appearances before District Courts and High Courts.
- Attend proceedings and observe court arguments and tribunal hearings.
Eligibility & Candidate Profile
- Open primarily to 3rd and 4th-year students pursuing a 5-year integrated law degree (B.A. LL.B. / B.B.A. LL.B. or equivalent).
- Strong foundational knowledge of procedural laws, corporate laws, and dispute resolution.
- Excellent legal research, analytical, and drafting skills.
