What You Will Gain
At Zenith Law Chambers, interns are integrated directly into core chamber practices rather than handling superficial work. You will work side-by-side with experienced practitioners on substantive matters, gaining invaluable insights into courtroom strategies and legal research protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Advanced Legal Research: Conduct exhaustive legal research and case analysis using premier legal databases including SCC Online and Manupatra.
- Procedural Law Mastery: Analyze procedural frameworks and observe the practical application of civil court proceedings.
- Legal Drafting: Prepare initial drafts of pleadings, applications, and legal notices tailored to your experience level.
- Case Briefing: Synthesize complex factual backgrounds and legal issues into concise, actionable briefs for chamber discussions.
Candidate Requirements
- Academic Standing: Currently enrolled in the 3rd year or above of a 5-year integrated LL.B. program, or equivalent stage of a 3-year LL.B. program.
- Core Legal Knowledge: A sound and robust understanding of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 and the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 (CPC) is essential.
- Bonus Knowledge: Familiarity with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 will be considered a significant added advantage.
- Skills & Aptitude: Exceptional command over spoken and written English, sharp analytical skills, quick comprehension of legal issues, and an unwavering work ethic.
