About the Conference

The 4th CNLU–CARCIL National Conference on Securities Laws, 2026 is organised as part of the CNLU–CARCIL National Corporate Fest (CNCF'26).

The conference builds upon the success of its previous editions and provides a platform to deliberate on:

  • Contemporary developments in securities law

  • Capital market regulation

  • Regulatory reforms

  • Market dynamics

  • Investor protection

  • Emerging challenges in securities regulation

The conference follows a two-phase format:

Phase I

  • Submission of original and unpublished research papers

  • Payment of the prescribed registration fee

  • Evaluation of all submissions

  • Selection of the Top 8 papers

Phase II

The shortlisted participants will present their research papers offline at CNLU before expert panels and participate in discussions on contemporary issues relating to securities and capital markets law.

The offline presentation round is scheduled for 3 September 2026.

The conference aims to evaluate:

  • Research aptitude

  • Legal reasoning

  • Analytical ability

  • Understanding of securities and capital market laws

Prizes and other recognitions will be awarded to outstanding participants.

Submission Guidelines

  • Abstract:

    • Maximum 350 words

    • Must be included within the final manuscript.

  • Full Paper:

    • 3,000–5,000 words

    • Word limit excludes footnotes and references.

  • Citation Style:

    • Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation (21st Edition)

  • Maximum 2 authors per paper.

  • Manuscripts must be:

    • Original

    • Unpublished

    • Written in English

    • Maximum 10% similarity index

  • Authors are solely responsible for the accuracy of facts, opinions and views.

  • Simultaneous submissions are prohibited while the manuscript is under review.

  • The manuscript must not contain the name of the author(s) or institution anywhere in the body.

  • Registration fee is mandatory for every author.

  • Participants must complete the registration form and select their preferred theme while registering.
