Role & Responsibilities
As a Senior Analyst (Data Privacy) within the Cyber Team, your key responsibilities include:
- Developing data protection policies and procedures in accordance with privacy laws and regulations for clients.
- Conducting assessments to identify potential data privacy and protection risks and developing mitigation strategies based on client requirements.
- Monitoring and evaluating data processing activities to ensure compliance with data protection laws and company policies.
- Providing guidance and support to clients on conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), risk assessments, data governance, and application and privacy impact assessments.
- Designing and building security and privacy frameworks.
- Designing or redesigning processes and privacy controls to support framework development for clients.
- Building and maintaining positive working relationships with teams and clients to exceed client expectations.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 1+ years of experience in data protection or privacy compliance.
- In-depth knowledge of data protection laws and regulations, particularly the Personal Data Protection Bill in India.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- CIPT, CIPM, CIPPE, or other related professional privacy certifications are preferred.
