Key Responsibilities
- Corporate Governance: Advise senior management and internal departments on corporate governance standards, best practices, and regulatory updates.
- Contract Structuring & Negotiation: Draft, review, and negotiate complex agreements, including vendor contracts, intellectual property licensing, and employment agreements.
- Mergers & Acquisitions: Assist with transactional due diligence, deal structuring, and drafting key documentation for M&A activities.
- Intellectual Property Rights: Manage and safeguard the company's patent, trademark, and copyright portfolios in an fast-evolving tech landscape.
- Cross-Departmental Guidance: Deliver strategic legal advice to internal stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, HR, and Product Development teams.
- Regulatory Compliance & Research: Conduct deep research on evolving AI regulations, data privacy legal frameworks, and technology-specific compliance obligations.
- Dispute Resolution: Oversee legal proceedings and collaborate with external counsel on complex, high-stakes matters.
Who Should Apply?
- Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent law degree from an accredited law institution.
- Bar Admission: Active bar admission in the state/jurisdiction of practice.
- Experience: 5+ years of corporate attorney experience, preferably within the tech, SaaS, or startup sectors.
