Key Responsibilities
- Drafting & Policy Development: Assist in drafting and reviewing comprehensive privacy policies, consent notices, Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), Records of Processing Activities (ROPAs), contracts, and compliance frameworks.
- Legal Research & Advisory: Perform deep-dive research into global and Indian privacy laws including the DPDP Act 2023, GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA to advise clients effectively.
- Audits & Implementation: Contribute to client gap assessments, audit work streams, implementation roadmaps, and actionable remediation activities.
- Client Delivery: Prepare detailed consulting reports, strategy presentations, and compliance documentation for corporate clients.
- Incident Management & Support: Assist with grievance redressal mechanisms, breach assessment frameworks, and incident response projects.
- Thought Leadership & Content: Author legal blogs, research papers, training handbooks, and awareness materials to build public credibility and contribute to internal knowledge banks.
Eligibility & Requirements
- Education: Mandatory Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.).
- Experience: 1–2 years of hands-on experience in data privacy, technology law, corporate compliance, or related legal advisory roles.
- Legal Expertise: Practical working knowledge of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023; familiarity with GDPR and global privacy frameworks is highly preferred.
- Skills: Excellent legal drafting, documentation, and research skills with high attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Technical & Preferred Experience: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Prior experience in compliance implementation, corporate consulting, or legal content writing is a strong plus.
