Role Overview & Key Responsibilities
As an Associate at Insight Legal, you will be deeply involved in end-to-end dispute resolution processes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Litigation Strategy & Drafting: Drafting pleadings, petitions, applications, written submissions, and legal notices for matters before original and appellate forums.
- Arbitration Proceedings: Assisting in domestic and international arbitration proceedings, including preliminary strategy, evidence gathering, and brief preparation.
- Court Appearances: Representing clients and assisting senior counsel before the High Court of Delhi, District Courts, and various tribunals across New Delhi.
- Legal Research: Conducting rigorous legal research on complex statutory interpretation, case laws, and procedural nuances.
Candidate Profile & Eligibility Criteria
Insight Legal is looking for candidates who possess strong analytical capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.
- Experience: 1 to 2 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) primarily focused on arbitration, civil litigation, and commercial disputes.
- Core Competencies: Exceptional legal drafting, strong oral advocacy skills, and a deep understanding of procedural laws (CPC, Arbitration & Conciliation Act, Commercial Courts Act).
- Location: Ability to work full-time on-site at the firm's office in Green Park Extension, New Delhi.
