Working under the guidance of Mr. Nisarg Choudhary, an esteemed Advocate-on-Record (AoR) at the Supreme Court of India, selected interns will gain unprecedented, hands-on exposure to proceedings before the highest judicial forums in the country. This internship offers a rare opportunity to bridge the gap between academic theory and practical courtroom strategy.
Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work
As a legal intern, you will be deeply integrated into the chamber's daily active cases. Your core responsibilities will include:
Legal Drafting: Drafting high-level special leave petitions (SLPs), writ petitions, miscellaneous applications, and formal legal notices.
In-Depth Legal Research: Conducting rigorous research on intricate legal questions spanning Constitutional Law, Service Law, and Criminal Law.
Courtroom Exposure: Attending proceedings and assisting in live matters before the Supreme Court of India, Delhi High Court, Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT), and the Armed Forces Tribunal (AFT).
Case Briefing & Preparation: Managing case files, preparing comprehensive case briefs, and summarizing trial records for senior counsel.
Candidate Eligibility & Requirements
We are seeking dedicated, high-caliber legal talent with a serious passion for dispute resolution and litigation. Applicants must meet the following criteria:
Pursuing a 5-year LL.B. program (3rd Year and above) OR a 3-year LL.B. program (2nd Year and above).
Demonstrated strength in legal research methodologies and legal writing.
A focused interest in developing a career in active litigation and advocacy.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
