About the Role & Scope
PLR Chambers is seeking a skilled legal professional for an Associate position within its prestigious Legislative Drafting Team. This is a government-facing assignment based in New Delhi, involving close collaboration with government entities on complex matters situated at the intersection of law, regulation, and public policy.
Key Responsibilities
- Legislative Drafting: Drafting, reviewing, and analyzing statutes, bills, rules, regulations, and legislative amendments.
- Policy Advisory: Conducting in-depth legal and policy research to deliver nuanced advisory on public policy matters.
- Litigation Management: Handling litigation strategy and managing litigation cases alongside legislative functions.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- Minimum Experience: At least 5 years of legal experience (5+ PQE). (Note: Applications from candidates with less than 5 years of PQE will not be considered.)
- Litigation Track Record: Minimum of 2 years of active litigation experience.
- Active enrollment with the Bar Council of India/State Bar Council.
