Key Responsibilities
- Drafting & Documentation: Prepare comprehensive appeals, grounds of appeal, written submissions, and detailed paper books tailored for tax tribunals and courts.
- Legal Research & Strategy: Conduct deep-dive research into complex tax statutes, landmark judicial precedents, notification nuances, and evolving regulatory policies.
- Forum Exposure: Assist senior lawyers and actively manage proceedings before the Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals) [CIT(A)], the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal (ITAT), and the prestigious Delhi High Court.
- Litigation Management: Handle day-to-day direct tax litigation matters, ensuring meticulous file preparation and strategic support for ongoing disputes.
Candidate Profile & Eligibility
- Qualifications: Must hold a professional law degree (LL.B. or 5-year BA.LL.B.) from a recognized university.
- Experience: Minimum of 6 months of dedicated experience in Direct Tax Litigation.
