1st NALSAR National Moot Court Competition 2026

NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad is proud to announce the 1st NALSAR National Moot Court Competition 2026. Designed to foster legal research, written advocacy, and oral argument skills among law undergraduates across India, this flagship competition focuses on contemporary legal issues in Constitutional Law and Emerging Technology Regulations.

Themes & Topics

The moot proposition addresses cutting-edge legal questions involving constitutional privacy, artificial intelligence governance, and digital surveillance under the Constitution of India.

Eligibility Criteria

• Open to undergraduate law students pursuing 3-year or 5-year LL.B. degree programs from recognized universities or law colleges in India.
• Each institution may register a maximum of two teams.
• A team composition must consist of 3 members (2 Oralists and 1 Researcher).

Key Dates & Timeline

• Last Date for Registration: April 30, 2026
• Memorial Submission Deadline: May 15, 2026
• Oral Rounds (On-Campus): May 25 – May 27, 2026

Prizes & Recognition

• Winning Team: Cash prize of ₹50,000, Trophy, and Certificates of Excellence.
• Runner-Up Team: Cash prize of ₹30,000, Trophy, and Certificates of Excellence.
• Best Speaker: Cash prize of ₹10,000 and Certificate.
• Best Memorial: Cash prize of ₹10,000 and Certificate.
• Certificates of Participation will be awarded to all registered participants.
