4th Nationwide Moot Court Competition 2026

The School of Legal Studies, CGC University, Mohali is organizing the 4th Nationwide Moot Court Competition, 2026. This prestigious competition offers law students across the country an enriching platform to hone their research, analytical, and oral advocacy skills in an authentic mock courtroom setting.

About the Institution

CGC University, Mohali, established under the aegis of Chandigarh Educational Society with a 25+ year legacy, carries forward academic excellence with an NAAC A+ accreditation (CGPA 3.46/4.0). The School of Legal Studies is known for its rigorous academic curriculum and faculty of seasoned legal practitioners and scholars.

Eligibility & Team Composition

• Students pursuing full-time 3-year LL.B. or 5-year integrated LL.B. programmes from any institution/university recognized by the Bar Council of India (BCI) are eligible.

• Teams may comprise either 3 members (two speakers and one researcher) or 2 members (both speakers).

Prizes & Awards

Participants stand a chance to compete for total cash prizes worth ₹89,000/- along with certificates of merit and participation.

• Last Date for Clarifications: October 1, 2026

• Release of Clarifications: October 3, 2026

• Registration Deadline: October 5, 2026

• Memorial Submission (Soft Copy): October 10, 2026

• Memorial Hard Copy, Inaugural Ceremony & Prelims: October 22, 2026

• Quarter-Finals & Semi-Finals: October 23, 2026

• Finals & Valedictory Ceremony: October 24, 2026
