About the 5th National Level Moot Court Competition 2026

The 5th National Level Moot Court Competition 2026 is being organised by the Department of Juridical Sciences, JIS University.

The competition will be conducted on campus over two days:

Dates: 30 September – 1 October 2026
Mode: Offline / On Campus

The competition provides law students with an opportunity to develop their mooting, legal research, written advocacy, and oral advocacy skills while competing against teams from law institutions across India.

Eligibility Criteria

The competition is open to:

• Law colleges

• Law schools

• Institutions imparting legal education

Participating institutions must be recognized under the Bar Council of India (BCI).

Students pursuing both:

• 5-year integrated law programmes, and

• 3-year LL.B. programmes

are eligible to participate.

Team Composition

Each team can consist of a maximum of three members:

• 2 Speakers

• 1 Researcher

If a team wishes to change its composition after registration, it must inform the Moot Court Committee by email.

Any such change will be permitted at the discretion of the Moot Court Committee.

Registration Fee

The registration fee for the 5th National Level Moot Court Competition 2026 is:

₹1,800 per team
