The Chanakya Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution (CCADR) at Chanakya National Law University (CNLU), Patna, invites abstract submissions for the inaugural volume of the CCADR Journal for Alternate Dispute Resolution. This flagship legal publication seeks original, insightful, and academically rigorous contributions addressing contemporary developments in dispute resolution.

Theme & Sub-Themes

Main Theme: “Navigating the Expanding Role of Mediation and Arbitration in Dispute Resolution.”

Key sub-themes include, but are not limited to:

• International Commercial Arbitration
• Investment Arbitration
• Finality of Awards
• Policy and Regulatory Developments in Mediation
• Technology, AI, and Online Dispute Resolution (ODR)

Eligibility Criteria

• Open to students, academicians, practitioners, researchers, and legal professionals.
• Submissions can be authored individually or co-authored (maximum of 2 authors per submission).

Submission Categories & Guidelines

• Long Articles: 6,000–8,000 words
• Short Articles: 3,000–6,000 words
• Case Comments / Book Reviews: 1,500–2,000 words (exclusive of footnotes)
• Abstract: Must include an abstract of 250–500 words in italics along with 5 keywords.
• Formatting: Main text in Times New Roman, Size 12, 1.15 line spacing, justified. Footnotes in Times New Roman, Size 10, 1.15 line spacing. Citation style: Bluebook 21st Edition.
• Limits: Plagiarism limit is max 15% (excluding citations). AI usage limit is max 10%.
• The manuscript must be anonymized, with author details provided on a separate cover page.

Important Dates & Timeline

• Notification of Abstract Acceptance: October 25, 2026
• Final Manuscript Submission: November 30, 2026
• Tentative Publication: March 2027

Interested authors must submit their abstracts and manuscripts in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) format via the official submission portal before the deadline.
