Call for Papers | Legal Wisdom (Vol. V, Issue 1 & 2)

Siddhartha Law College, Dehradun invites legal scholars, academicians, practitioners, and students to contribute to Volume V, Issue 1 & 2 (2026) of its bi-annual blind peer-reviewed journal, Legal Wisdom (ISSN No. 2454-714X). This publication provides a prestigious platform to publish original, high-quality legal research on contemporary socio-legal issues without any publication fees.

Categories of Submissions

• Research Papers: 3,000–5,000 words (excluding footnotes)
• Case Comments: 2,000–3,000 words (excluding footnotes)
• Book Reviews: 1,000–2,000 words (excluding footnotes)

Eligibility Criteria

• Submissions must address a contemporary legal or socio-legal issue with original analysis.
• Co-authorship is permitted up to a maximum of two authors.
• All submissions must be written in English.

Submission & Formatting Guidelines

• Abstract: Must include an abstract of no more than 300 words.
• Font & Line Spacing: Times New Roman; Title in 14 pt; Main text in 12 pt with 1.5 line spacing (justified alignment); Margins 1 inch on all sides.
• Footnotes: Times New Roman, 10 pt, 1.0 line spacing. Endnotes are strictly not permitted.
• Citation Style: Must strictly conform to the ILI Rules of Footnoting.
• Plagiarism & AI Policy: Plagiarism must be under 10%. AI detection must be 0%. A Turnitin or DrillBit plagiarism report must be attached along with the submission.
• Author Details: Personal/author details must be provided in a separate MS Word document to facilitate blind peer review.
• File Format: Manuscripts must be submitted in MS Word format (.doc/.docx).

Prizes & Fee Structure

• Publication Fee: NIL (No fee charged at any stage).
• Publication: Selected papers will be published in the peer-reviewed journal Legal Wisdom.
